What’s up Fatal1ty Gaming Gear fans! This is your friendly Neighborhood Intern Benny here to drop some more up to the date gaming news. So Microsoft announced the upcoming title from 343 Industries, Halo 5: Guardians to be released fall 2015. Another epic installment of the adventures of Master Chief and his tireless fight against what seems like an endless alien onslaught. Halo 5: Guardians will be released on the Xbox One platform boasting how thanks to the new Platforms specs it will make this title the best ever. So before I talk about how this game is gonna rock, I’m gonna give you guys a brief history of the franchise as a man who was there on the front lines who played the game when it first came out.

The first Halo was released on November 15th 2001 For the first platform released by microsoft the Xbox, you know the one that was like a big black square with an X on the top. Halo was first created by a company named Bungie but in 2010 it was taken over by 343 Industries and has always been a Xbox exclusive game. So Halo is a first person shooter where you, as Master Chief, roam across space, and eventually onto an alien built megastructure known as Halo. On Halo you encounter an alien race known as the Covenant who want you dead and will use all their alien technology to stop you from finishing your mission. In the game there are all kinds of vehicles like the Banshee which is a purple one person aircraft that is just awesome to fly. In the Banshee you can do barrel rolls, shoot things, use boosts, do a 180 and all kinds of fun flying stuff, to be honest I spent most of my time on the maps with Bansee’s. There are also other vehicles like the Ghost which is like a hovering ATV, the Wraith which was the Covenants idea of a tank, a Scorpian which was our tank, and the Warthog which was our hummer type vehicle.  So using all the firepower from the UNSC and the Covenant you clear multiple levels of alien onslaught to reach your goal of activating Halo. This continued through a couple of games Halo, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3 ODST, Halo wars, Halo Reach, and Halo 4.

“In the tradition of every Halo game since its debut in 2001, it is a massive and exciting project,” said 343 Industries GM Bonnie Ross announced at E3. Halo 5: Guardians promises to be some next level stuff boasting it to be bigger and better than any other Halo game. The content and scope of the Halo game, as well as a new game engine plus the hardware of the new system will make this thing cutting edge boasts developers. 343 industies are hard at work stating how they will push the limits and show off all their skills as well as everything they learned from Halo 4. A new Halo game would be great but you know what would be greater? how about a Halo Series? we can also look forward to a Steven Spielberg produced live action Halo series that Xbox entertainment studios is developing. Unfortunatly thats pretty much all the information they are willing to give away for now saying how the closer we get to the release date the more information will be released. I don’t know about you guys but I’m looking forward to this release, I have almost all the games except Halo Wars, I don’t like the real time strategy games that much because it reminds me of old time Warcraft. Halo was pretty much my first first person shooter and will always have a place in my game collection because it has brought me good times, company when I can’t sleep and hours of trash talk on Xbox Live.

Halo 5 wallpaper is also available at the following web address so you can get a feel of the look of the game. https://blogs.halowaypoint.com/en-us/blogs/headlines/posts/the-great-journey. So as always leave me a comment below let me know what your favorite Halo memory is or what you’re looking forward to for the next installment of Halo.
