Binding of Isaac: Rebirth Nearing the End of Development

Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is an updated version of the popular rogue like game. Edmund McMillen revealed that the game is “nearing the end of development.” The new version has a complete art overhaul, will run on a new engine, will have over 150 new items, 3 new playable characters, and even two player local co-op. These seem like great additions, but it doesn’t stop there. New room sizes, new enemies, bosses, chapters, endings, and even more features will also be added. New songs have been added, and there will be a loyalty pre-order discount for anyone who has the game on the pc already. McMillen stated that “The goal will be to make replaying the whole game not only worth it, but also make it so it feels very fresh and new.” I’m really excited to replay the game and try to work around all the new features. The co-op will be really an awesome addition as well. Which new features are you most excited for?
