Live-Action Last of Us Movie Being Developed

Screen Gems, a subsidiary of Sony Pictures, has recently signed on for a live-action “The Last Of Us” movie!  Deadline reports that co-presidents of Naughty Dog Evan Wells and Christophe Valestra, along with Druckmann and game director Bruce Straley, are on board for this project. They will be joined by Sam Raimi as well as his Ghost House Pictures banner.  Evan Wells stated “Our partnership with Sam Raimi, Ghost House Pictures, and Screen Gems to develop a film based on The Last of Us universe is a perfect fit, Since our game released last June, we’ve talked with many companies about making a film, but we couldn’t have found better partners who share our creative vision and high standards. We look forward to collaborating with Sam, his team, and Screen Gems, to make a movie that will thrill fans of The Last of Us and general audiences worldwide.” This isn’t Naughty Dog’s only movie adaptation that they have been pursuing. “Uncharted” is also reportedly in the works.  What do you guys think about movie adaptations of games? Are there any games you would like to see movies made after?
