MOBAFire Challenger Series Season 1 Wraps Up

The first ever season of the MOBAFire Challenger Series has concluded, and the top Challenger teams in the League of Legends scenes have been revealed. On September 11th, compLexity Gaming took on Napkins in Disguise (formerly known as Denial eSports) in what was the culmination of 7 weeks of action from the best Challenger teams in the game. compLexity had been the top team throughout the tournament, going undefeated, while Napkins went in with the third place seed. In the end, it was compLexity Gaming who decisively took the win over Napkins, continuing their amazing showing from the PAX League of Legends LCS qualifier.

They took home $5,500 with Napkins took home $2,500 for second place.

In the beginning of the season, compLexity really separated themselves from the rest of the teams. Many thought it would be Team TBD who would join them in the finals, but that turned out to not be the case. Still, compLexity maintained their top spot throughout the season and really showed why they were considered one of the top Challenger teams in the country.

Overall, the season was a big success and I definitely loved being able to give back to the community and help out the Challenger teams by sponsoring this event. Keep an eye out for more details on Season 2, as that should be released shortly! It should definitely be even bigger and better than the first time around!
