Fatal1ty-South-Park-FB-BlogSouth Park: The Stick of Truth

Some of the more anticipated news everyone is looking forward to at this E3 is for the game South Park: The Stick of Truth. For those of you who don’t watch South Park, the show is actually pretty damn funny and its creators try to push the envelope of what’s appropriate and what isn’t in every single episode.

The upcoming game is an RPG where players take on the role of a “new kid” in town. It’s being developed by Obsidian Entertainment, the same group that came out with the Fallout: New Vegas game, and published by Ubisoft (formerly supposed to be published by THQ). The reason for a lot of anticipation, on top of the fact that it’s a seemingly well done South Park video game, is because there was some scare that this game would be lost in the whole THQ shuffle. Apparently that isn’t going to be the case, but it was the reason for its delay as it was expected to come out in March.

What I find really interesting about this game is that just by looking at it you can’t even tell that it’s a game. The crazy thing is that it looks as if you’re watching an episode of the show, but in fact it’s a game that you’re playing and interacting with.
