theScore, a Canadian sports news company, is launching an eSports app so that you can track all of your favorite teams and games. The official pages states that the app will be “The first app to deliver dedicated, multi-game news and data coverage from the world of eSports, seamlessly combining mobile-first breaking news, live scores, stats push alerts, and links to video highlights and streams.” This app focuses mostly on League of Legends, but does have information on other games as well, such as Dota 2, CS:GO, Call of Duty, StarCraft 2, and Hearthstone. There is both an Android and iOS release. In a statement announcing the app, John Levy, founder/CEO of theScore, stated that “In our view, e-sports should be treated as a fully fledged sport and theScore eSports mirrors the same dedicated mobile-first approach we’ve taken with our flagship mobile sports platform ‘theScore.'”
